Bike Shipping/Assembly Services

Cycle North Carolina offers the option for you to ship your bike to our bike mechanics who will receive your bike, assemble it before the event and have it delivered to the start of the ride. After the ride, our bike techs will handle the breakdown, packing and shipping of your bike back to your home. Shipping cost is NOT included. We recommend using Bike Flights to ship your bike. Bike Service Packages

Our Bike Mechanics, Lake Gaston Outfitters, offers various service packages that you can add to your registration. As a reminder, e-bikes and e-assist bikes will NOT be permitted at our Cycle North Carolina charging stations. If you are bringing an e-bike or e-assist bike and will be outdoor camping, you will need to purchase the Platinum Package below for any e-bike charging needs. The Platinum Package is only available if you indicated that you are bringing an e-bike or e-assist bike earlier on this registration form.

For those staying in hotels, a location at camp will be provided for your to leave your bike overnight or you can purchase the Silver Package below that includes secure storage and protection from the elements.

Campsite Coffee Service Packages

MunchiLove Artisan Brownies & Espresso is proud to be the official coffee vendor for this year's ride. They will be traveling with us from the mountains to the coast, serving premium locally-roasted coffee from Black & White Coffee Roasters (Raleigh) each day. Their mobile coffee bar will open at 5:00 AM and be open in the afternoons as well for post-ride refreshments.

Take advantage of discount pricing by pre-purchasing one of their package options. All package holders will receive $1 off all additional drink purchases throughout the event as well.

Bus Transportation Options

Cycle NC provides transportation options both before and after the ride. If you would like to purchase bus transportation, please select which bus option(s) you would like to add from the options below. The bus options on Sunday after the ride will pick up at our official Cycle NC Hotels in Nags Head as well as at the campsite in Manteo.

** For the Western Bus Transportation Option, only two wheel upright traditional bikes are allowed.

Hotel Luggage Delivery

Cycle NC provides the option to purchase Hotel Luggage Delivery services during the Mountains to Coast Ride for those staying in Official Cycle NC hotels for any portion of this year's ride. Please select the service you need to add.

1 Bag does not include a backpack or the option to strap/attach another bag to the 1 Bag. Take advantage of the discounted 2 Bag option if you will need any other type of bag transported in addition to your main bag.

** Those utilizing the Hotel Luggage Delivery Service are required to make all of their hotel reservations using the Travel Direction Hotel Reservation Form/Service. As one of the first to register for the 2026 ride, you will have access to make your hotel reservations prior to others. Be sure to keep an eye on your e-mail in January for the Route Announcement Video and Hotel Reservation Form link.

Cycle NC Meal Plan

Cycle NC will be offering various meal plan options for this year's ride. These plans are optional. If you would like to purchase one, please select your meal plan option from the list below.

If you are staying in hotels, it is not recommended that you purchase the meal plan. Many hotels provide breakfast and there are often restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. CNC also provides shuttles in the afternoon/evening with restaurant options on the route.

Cycle NC Excursions by Visit NC

Cycle NC Excursions by Visit NC are another way to explore North Carolina during this year's Mountains to Coast Ride. Excursions are a great option for non-riders, or for riders that want to take day(s) off from cycling during the week or may not want to ride in the mountains, in bad weather, etc. Some of the highlights from previous Cycle NC Excursions include taking in the view from Grandfather Mountain, going for a ride at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, exploring the exhibits at the NC Museum of Art, and sampling the food at the North Carolina Seafood Festival. Motorcoach transportation and bike transport included. Additional fees may apply for tastings, admission to sites and meals. The list of 2026 Excursions will be posted soon but in the meantime, click here to check out the 2025 Excursions by Visit NC.

Note - The Cycle NC Excursions by Visit NC are offered each day and run roughly from 9am to 3pm. It is not possible to both ride and participate in the excursions on the same day.

2026 Mountains to Coast Refund and Cancellation Policy

A No Refund Policy is in effect for the 2026 Cycle NC Mountains to Coast Ride. All payments are non-refundable for any reason including but not limited to illness, medical emergency, pandemic, epidemic, a death in the family, severe weather, hurricane and mandatory evacuation. You have the option to purchase the Cycle NC Mountains to Coast Ride Trip Cancellation Protection should you have to cancel for any reason. Registrations may not be deferred, transferred or credited. No exceptions.

2026 Cycle NC Mountains to Coast Ride Trip Cancellation Protection

Cycle NC offers the option to purchase Trip Cancellation Protection for the 2026 Mountains to Coast Ride. The Trip Cancellation Protection covers all monetary purchases made directly to Cycle NC during the registration process for the 2026 Mountains to Coast Ride. Trip Cancellation Protection does not cover expenses that were not paid to Cycle NC such as: flight reservations, car rentals, hotel reservations, third party vendor services, etc. nor does it cover expenses paid for using credit from a previous Cycle NC event. This Trip Cancellation Protection is only valid for the 2026 Cycle NC Mountains to Coast Ride and cannot be refunded, or transferred to another participant.

Cycle NC Trip Cancellation Protection may be purchased at the time of registration for $75, or added to an existing registration at a later date for $125.

If you purchase the Cancellation Protection and find yourself unable to attend the 2026 Mountains to Coast Ride for any reason, you have until 5pm EST on Monday, September 21 to send written notification of your need to cancel to the CNC office and receive a cash refund. Those who submit a written notification after that time will receive a refund in the form of credit. The credit will only be for the registration fee and not for any additional items purchased such as parking passes, meals, luggage, transportation, merchandise, etc. The credit will be good for one year after the issue date and can not be used to purchase generic Cycle NC merchandise or to make future hotel reservations through Travel Direction. No cash or credit refund will be issued for written notifications received after 5pm EST on Friday, October 2.

Cancellation notifications can be e-mailed to cyclenc@ncsports.org. Jerseys and additional event shirts will only be refunded for those cancellation notifications received on or before July 22. Jerseys and additional event shirts for those that cancel after July 22 will be sent to the address in your registration profile. All cash refunds will be issued in the form of a check and will be mailed no later than one month after the completion of the event. Refunds will not include the money spent to purchase the Trip Cancellation Protection nor any handling fees or expenses paid for using credit from a previous Cycle NC event.
